Today we lay to the ground the body of my dearest and “bestest” friend Ayman Sawaf, an extraordinary man of rare caliber, but his free soul will not leave us and will always stay with us to continue his legacy and continue sharing with us his love and amazing energy not equal to none in this world…
Ayman, “The Man”, as everybody calls him, is a beautiful phenomena, a gift from heaven, is Beauty, is Laughter, is Joy, is Happiness, is Creativity, is Music, is continuous positive energy, is loyalty… and a wonderful aura to be around…
More than fifty years of Amazing friendship with the most wonderful best friend… deeply and beautifully engraved memories in my heart & soul…
We traveled together when we were 16 to France & the UK and lived the hippy era to the max and attended many many music festivals with unforgettable adventures…
but the wildest festival was the first Isle of Wight Festival in 1970 in England, right after the Woodstock festival in the USA in 1969…
It was an amazing journey in our lives that we never forgot.
We had our own tent with the Lebanese flag on a huge pole & saw major outstanding artists Live on stage, such as The Who, The Doors, Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, Jimmy Hendrix (2 weeks before he died), Joan Baez, Elton John, Joe Cocker, to name but a few…
